Federal Healthcare Plan Could Force Skyrocketing Costs on Our State

Sen. Crowell's Capitol office released his weekly newsletter earlier this week. This week's article focuses on implications federal health care reform could have on Missouri's budget. You can read the entire article on Sen. Crowell's official Senate web page.

Proposals would increase Missouri’s eligibility significantly. While I support expanding healthcare to those in Missouri who need help, I am strongly opposed to spending on the federal level that will seriously impact Missouri and force us to spend outside of our state’s ability.
